Some ways

you can help

one

Volunteer your time

We look for help with taking our dogs for daily walks to help them adapt to the change and not feel stuck indoor all day.

We always need help spreading the news of new pets that come into our care. We always have the pictures of the pets. We would love for help with some in making videos of their times outdoors or in group play with other dogs. So we can post these videos online to help get more pets adopted.

There are many ways you can volunteer. From the early stages of preparing for our animal’s arrival, to meeting them at transport, to helping at adoption events, and then following up after adoption, every step along on our animal’s journey relies on volunteers.

We're looking for people who can:

Provide general care to our rescue animals including, feeding, washing and grooming

Take our dogs for a walk and help socialize them, giving them a break from doggy daycare

Write creative bios and content for our website and social channels

Film our new cats and dogs to share them with prospective owners

If you have these skills we'd love to meet you!

Foster an animal in need

In the wake of Coronavirus, many homes are looking toward fostering a dog as a source of indoor companionship. It’s great that so many people are thinking of opening their doors. Animal shelters across the country need foster volunteers now more than ever. The Huffington Post reports that “shelters want to move as many animals as possible off the premises and into foster homes, in case they’re hit with staffing shortages as employees and volunteers get sick or need to self-quarantine. “Why are shelters so reliant on fosters? Simply put, not all dogs can thrive in shelters. A dog is better suited for a home for multiple reasons: they’re a puppy, they’re recovering from an injury, they need practice being in a home before they can be adopted, or the shelter simply might not have enough space. Some rescue organizations are run entirely on fosters even. By opening your door to an animal in need, you’re playing a pivotal role in helping them find their home.

Being a foster carer gives rescue animals a chance to live in a loving home where the can recover from trauma, work to overcome fears and fully express their personality in a safe space. Being a carer is the best decision I've ever made.

Make a donation

We carefully guard every resource we have to maximize the number of animals we can save.  Even though our adoption fees do not cover all the costs associated with our rescues, we never want to turn away a dog or cat based on their medical needs, or be forced to end treatment due to cost alone. Instead, we fight tooth and nail to support our animals in every way that we can. We can only do this with your help!
